Yoga is often associated with being strong and flexible, although it is solemnly the willingness to surrender. It grants you the space to create yourself without limit; learning through observation, rather than judgement. This practice allows you to show up as you are, from day to day and it serves as a meeting place between self inquiry and self understanding.

Yoga came to me through the desire to learn myself. The practice taught me how to look and how to breathe, which presented me with self discernment and acceptance. Observation has enabled me to acknowledge that my triggers are my biggest teachers and that my truth can only be recognized in stillness and silence. 

I stepped into the seat of a teacher because I witnessed how magical and healing it can be. The more I show up for others, the more I show up for myself. One of my favorite quotes is by Rumi “Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground”. Exploring yoga and diverse movement is the intersection of my creativity and passion. I am humbled, honored and truly excited to share my love for this practice. My mission and purpose of Mindful Dhyana is to share and connect with others by moving, breathing and creating space for one to experience themselves as they are. I am truly grateful for all of my teachers and for all of my students.
